Rob is an employment law expert focused on clients' best interests, delivering pragmatic solutions that balance principles with commercial outcomes. He acts for a broad range of private and public sector employers and senior employees across employment, health and safety, privacy and data protection, and immigration matters.
Rob supports clients with day-to-day employment advice and guides them through employment processes including disciplinary matters, performance management, medical incapacity, and restructuring. He regularly advises on workplace investigations, bullying, discrimination, and harassment, and frequently represents clients in mediations and before the Employment Relations Authority and Employment Court.
Prior to specialising in employment, Rob gained valuable litigation experience in a general civil litigation team, including appearances in the District and High Courts. This background equips him well for complex litigation matters, including preparing pleadings, briefs of evidence, and legal submissions.
