Matt Harrop is a Special Counsel in the Employment Team at Duncan Cotterill. He has extensive experience advising employers and employees in New Zealand and the UK in employment disputes, restructurings, senior executive matters, restrictive covenants, discrimination and whistleblowing claims. Matt also advises on the employment aspects of M&A transactions, contractor disputes, Holidays Act compliance, privacy and data protection matters. An experienced litigator, he has represented clients in mediation, the Employment Relations Authority, Employment Court, senior New Zealand courts and the UK Employment Tribunal.
