Daniel is the leader of his firm’s Employment and Health & Safety Practice Group and is widely recognised for delivering pragmatic, timely and easy-to-understand employment law advice. He works with employers across a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, freight and logistics, and retail, advising on complex workplace relations, health and safety and executive employment matters.
Known for his collaborative and concise approach, Daniel regularly represents clients in negotiations, mediations and litigation before the Employment Relations Authority and Employment Court. He also has extensive expertise in workplace health and safety, supporting organisations to meet their legislative obligations and assisting during WorkSafe New Zealand investigations and prosecutions.
In addition to his advisory and litigation work, Daniel is frequently engaged to conduct external workplace investigations involving allegations of bullying, harassment and misconduct. He is recognised as a Recommended Lawyer in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific rankings and as a Leading Lawyer by Doyles Guide.
